Manual Traffic Exchanges Vs. Auto Exchange

In the world of ever increasing computer technology the trend is to try and automate as many tasks as you can.  I mean who wants to do a simple repetitive thing if a computer can do it for you. Most of the times computers can do it faster and more accurately then a human can any way, free us up to do more enjoyable and meaningful tasks.

With this in mind its no wonder that the autosurf exchange was born. Why sit there and click on link after link to view other members pages when you could just sit back and relax and let the computer do it?

Well in my last post manual traffic exchanges were described as a basic co operative site where I look at your site and in return you look at my site.

So now with an autosurf I just don’t have to click to go to the next site. In fact if I have to get up and stretch or use the restroom The sites will still be shown even if I’m not there watching. Well hmm now that I think about it, instead of using the computer to surf during the day when I have other things I should be doing, I could get my work done and then before I get off the computer for the day open up a couple of tabs and let the auto exchanges run, while I go have dinner play with the kids watch some TV with the wife and even while I sleep.

This is the internet dream isn’t it?

I just push the button and go off and live my life while my computer does all the work for me and drives thousands of hits to my site every day.

Sorry to break the news to you… but it is just that , a dream.

You see if you are off living your life while the computer is off surfing for you, you are not viewing any bodies pages. If your not seeing other peoples sites you can’t join them or fill in an opt in form to get more information or anything like that.

Most of the times you will come back to the computer and you will see that its not surfing for you any more anyway because some site that was in rotation stopped the exchange from moving forward or even worse your computer is now infected with several viruses from sites that have come and gone in your absence.

That’s not even the point I was trying to make though, remember the core idea behind the traffic exchange was that you look at my page and I look at yours.

But you didn’t look at any of my pages you were off watching the season finally of your favorite show.

Guess what, I love that show too, I was off watching it as well along with everyone else, so who was it that saw your sites?

Some one had to have right? I mean your hit counter says during the last two hours there were hundreds of hits to your site right?

If it wasn’t me , and it wasn’t you, there had to be someone….

Oh wait thats right the computers did it for us we didn’t even have to be there, And since we weren’t there, we never saw any of the sites and so no one ever joined. No one ever filled in the opt in form or even clicked on a link on our pages because no one was there.

So unless your dream was to sell bandwidth to a bunch of computers that are constantly running, its not coming true.

That is where the manual traffic exchange comes back into play.

It is the owners of these sites that bring in new members that will be there to look at your site. It is their job to put anti cheat protection in and what ever they can do to make sure there is actually a person there looking at your site , and that you are there looking at theirs.

All you need to do is do exactly what you joined the traffic exchange to do look at other peoples sites so they will look at yours. There are some tips and tricks I have for you that will show you how to get those other surfers paying close attention to your ads. How you can make them remember you and click on your links.
