Your Free Traffic Gig

Ok so are you ready to rock?

If you are and you have the mind set that you are going out there and be a rockstar then you are already ahead of the crowd.

Speaking of crowds, your going to need one to perform in front of.

And you just dont want any crowd do you? You want to be in front of the biggest loudest most engaged crowd you can find.

So where do you go? Where is that big crowd of people hanging out that you can put your advertisments in front of?

Where can you get free traffic to your website?

As you may have guessed, we like traffic exchanges around here. And yes that is one great source of no or low cost traffic.

There are a few others out there as well and we will get into them all in up coming posts.

Let me just throw a couple of them out there for you now and we can go into more details about each one and how you should best prepair for each one too.

You wouldn’t prep for a concert in a night club the same you would for a headlining stadium concert would you? And preparing for these different traffic venues is the same.

Traffic Exchanges – These are basically a co-op between all the members where everyone agrees, that they will look at your site if you look at theirs.

Safelists – This is similar to a traffic exchange except you agree to read peoples emails and they will read yours. These lost their effectiveness for a while but with the invent of credit based safelist they have once again become a great way to increase web traffic.

Forums – Forums are great for getting in front of people that are all interested in similar topics. Its also great way to see what people are looking for or what problems they need a solution to. And if used correctly they are great source of free traffic.

Blogging – Well if your reading this post right now,and you weren’t paid to do so….     see blogging can get you free traffic, cool huh?

Article/Bum Marketing – Writing and submitting articles to article directories and ezines. This builds your back links and can send people to your sites.

These are mostly the big ones you will see people talking about when the topic of free traffic generation comes up and the reason is because they are effective, there are still many others too but we will explore them later.
